The Mission of the Catholic American Community of St. Patrick’s Church in Rome:

United by our Catholic faith and English language, we celebrate and live together the faith of Saints Peter and Paul founded in this holy city of Rome.  We welcome those who come to Rome as pilgrims and tourists seeking to grow in their Catholic faith celebrated in language and ways familiar to them. We reach out to those in our city who depend on others for the compassion that leads to human dignity and opportunity. We join in ecumenical collaboration with those of other Christian traditions to know and live our gospel faith most fully.

All of our Masses are at the St. Patrick's Church/Chiesa di San Patrizio, Via Boncompagni, N. 31 (00187 Rome, Italy).

Church Hours (beginning September 5): Sunday: 8:30 AM to 12 Noon; Monday through Saturday: 4 PM to 7 PM; Plus Thursday and Saturday: 9 AM to 12:30 PM.   [Due to the significant drop in our regular collections, we have been forced to limit the hours the church will be open and reduce the hours of our employees (and apply again to the government for cassa integrazione). These are very difficult decisions to make, but we have no alternative considering the current financial situation.] At the same time we are returning to our regular Mass schedule:  Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM, Saturday Vigil at 6:00 PM and Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. We will continue to livestream some of our Masses on Facebook and later post them on You Tube.  Here are the required protocols

A “virtual” Collection Basket will be passed around before and after Mass. To all of our parishioners, alumni and friends, we make an appeal to contribute to our parish as you would if you were attending Mass. We need to pay our salaries, living expenses and ongoing taxes and this has become very difficult. We realize that we are not the only ones in need at this time, and that many of you are suffering with the closures and loss of income. So we appreciate anything you can offer to help. Please use this Paulist link https://www.paulist.org/helprome/ or go to the home page of our website www.stpatricksamericnarome.org and donate through Paypal, or send a bank transfer (bonifico) to our Chiesa di San Patrizio a Villa Ludovisi account at the credem bank: IT35D 03032 03201 01000 0005028. We are incredibly grateful to all of you who have donated so generously thus far. We appreciate this very much.

Our apologies, but we are awaiting delivery of a new iPad, so Mass for Monday, October 19, 2020 will not be live-streamed.
