Our Mass Times and Location

The American parish of the Church of Saint Patrick (San Patrizio a Villa Ludovis) is located at Via Boncompagni, 31 near the US Embassy and the Via Veneto.  Please click here for Map and Public Transportation Directions (which can be downloaded and printed)!

Our Mass schedule at St. Patrick's Church (all of our Masses are in English):


Daily Mass, Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM

Saturday Vigil Mass at 6:00 PM (except May 18 and 25 when our Confirmation Masses begin at 5:30 PM) 

Sunday Morning at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM

    Holy Days:  6 PM Vigil Mass and 10:30 AM  

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) is offered before our 6 PM Masses, Monday through Saturday, or by appointment

The 11:00 AM St. Patrick Community Mass in the Marymount Chapel celebrated September 9 - June 16 (except for February 17 and April 21).


Please note that the following Metro stops have been temporarily closed:  Repubblica and Barberini (Spagna just opened on May 7th!).  We do not know when they will reopen, but probably not until the Fall.  So either come to St. Patrick's by bus, by taxi (tell them Via Boncompagni at Via Piemonte) or by walking


Holy Thursday, April 18: 6:00 PM - Mass of the Lord’s Supper 

                         Good Friday, April 19: 6:00 PM - Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion  

Holy Saturday, April 20:  8:00 PM-Easter Vigil Mass

           EASTER SUNDAY, April 21:  9:00 AM and 10:30 AM (full choir)


Easter Monday, April 22: 10:30 AM

The Sacrament of Reconciliation During Lent

Communal Reconciliation Service: Saturday, April 6, at 5:00 PM

During Holy Week, there will be Confessions at 5:30 PM on Monday, April 15, Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17, and on Holy Thursday, April 18, from 5:00 to 5:45 PM. Reconciliation is also available by appointment, and before Mass Monday through Saturday, except during the Holy Triduum (Holy Thursday evening through Easter Sunday). Confessions are also available upon request before the evening Masses Monday through Friday or by appointment.

Papal Audiences

Unfortunately we have no more copies of our Jubilee edition (2017/2018) of As Romans Do, our periodic guide for pilgrims to Rome. Much of the information in this Guide Book is on our website. We hope that the 2019-2020 edition of As Romans Do will be ready by Easter 2019.  Please do not request the 2019 edition at this time but wait until it's publication is announced. Click for more info!
