Parish Bulletin for Sunday, July 20, 2025, the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The 2025 St. Nicholas Serata for Charity

is Friday, December 5, 2025, the Vigil of the Patronal Feast of St. Nicholas of Bari.  As last year, it will be year at the prestigious Circolo Canotieri Aniene.  Charities include: The Fondazione Don Luigi Di Liegro, the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center, the Orma Association’s medical projects for the Elderly, and a special project for St. Patrick’s Church. We have affirmed the two-fold purpose of the St. Nicholas Charity Serata:  to raise money for charitable institutions in Rome and to build up and celebrate our community.

Now is the time to begin thinking about auction donations.  When you go on vacation please consider purchasing or seeking donations for our Silent Auction in the areas of art, agriturismo, hotels, restaurants (get their menu, too), fashion, beauty products, specialty foods, book sets, a day at a spa or anything else that people would love to bid on.  Be incredibly original and unique this year!  Find something that you yourself would bid on.    And remember we need brand new items, nothing used.  The summer is the perfect time to begin collecting these items. Write to Fr. Greg with ideas: gapparcel@paulist.org AND go to our website to see the new film about last year’s Serata:  https://stpatricksamericanrome.org/community/st-nicholas-serata-for-charity/

Our Financial Needs

The American parish of St. Patrick’s does not  receive financial support from the Vatican, the US or other religious institutions.  We depend on the generosity of our parishioners and visitors to help us continue our ministries and weekly operating expenses. Would you consider making a one time donation of 20 Euros (or $20 US) or more?  We appreciate whatever assistance you can give us.  You can also make a donation via bank transfer or bonifico to St. Patrick’s (see donation page). Or you can make a donation via Paypal, with your debit or credit card, through the Parish website dedicated page.

US Dollar checks should be made out to: The Paulist Fathers and we can give you a tax deductible letter at the end of the year. You can give by going directly to our Donation page:  https://stpatricksamericanrome.org/donate/

We appreciate whatever assistance you can give us. Thank you for your presence and generosity.
