Parish Bulletin for Sunday, March 15, 2026, Laetare Sunday, the Fourth Sunday of Lent

St. Patrick’s Day Mass and Reception: Tuesday, March 17, at 10 AM.

Though we are now the American Parish in Rome, we continue the tradition followed by the Irish Augustinians and host the Mass for the Solemnity of St. Patrick, which is a very important event for the Irish (and friends of Ireland) in Rome and is normally very well attended so we are expecting a full Church. Following tradition our parishioners will host and provide a reception after the Mass in Tara Hall. We need roughly 20-25 parishioners to bring delicious potluck finger foods (small sandwiches, cookies, pizzette, hors d’oeuvres, crostate, small pastries etc) and we need about 10 adults to help set up, serve and cleanup.  If you can help in any way please contact Hiroko Sasaki (hiroko.sasaki67@gmail.com) or Laura De Stefano (lauraclaire.destefano@gmail.com )There are also signup sheets at the Visitors Desk. We need your commitment by March 13 at the latest. Please help us!!!

Please note that there will not be a 6 PM Mass on March 17.

The Young Adults at St. Patrick’s Group

is a monthly gathering for Catholics in their 20s and 30s.  These happen on the Third Tuesday of the Month.  The next one is March 17 (the Solemnity of St. Patrick). Led by Deacon Brendan Parlett, the group will meet at St. Patrick’s Church for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 7:00 PM, followed by dinner celebrating our Patronal Feast Day at 7:35 PM at Pizzeria San Marco, Via Sardegna, 38. (Bring 20 euro to cover costs). For more information and to RSVP, please write to Deacon Brendan at bparlett@pnac.org  Following the US model, “Theology on Tap,” in Rome we are calling it Theology alla Spina. Tell your friends.

Our  next Children’s Liturgy of the Word

is Sunday, March 15, at 10:30 AM.

And our next Teen Mass

is also March 15, at 5:00 PM. All are welcome.

 Rice Bowl 2026
