Monday, June 29, is the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul. It is both a religious and a civil holiday, and so our Church will be closed. We will open at around 5 PM for the 6 PM Mass.
Our Prayer Request Book
is located on the table (with the green tablecloth) next to St. Brigid’s Chapel). Our next Prayer Group Meeting for the intentions written in the Prayer Request Book is Monday, July 6, at 5:30 PM in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. All are welcome!
Watch for our programs and events that will begin again in September:
- Our Young Adults at St. Patrick’s Group for people in their 20s and 30s.
- Sessions for our Christian Initiation process for those interested in becoming Catholic and receiving the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
- Our Children’s Liturgy programs at the 10:30 AM Mass and our once-a-month Teen Mass on Sundays at 5 PM.
- And, Spiritual Walking Tours with Fr. Greg (Schedule to be announced in August).
Annual Paulist Fathers Appeal Continues through June.
Since 1922, the Paulist Fathers have had the honor and privilege to serve the Catholic American Community in Rome, first at Santa Susanna Church, now at St. Patrick’s. Today, Fr. Matt Berrios and Fr. Greg Apparcel continue that legacy of service and pastoral care to all of our parishioners and visitors, indeed, to all who enter our Church doors. As Paulists, we are blessed to share the Good News with you week after week. In a special way, the Paulist Fathers seek to connect with those who are searching for God in their lives and to reach out to those who have felt excluded or distant from our community. We also seek to connect with those of other faith traditions, seeking the ways of peace.
In that spirit, we invite you to participate in this year’s Annual Paulist Appeal, which provides the much-needed support for those Paulist Ministries that reach beyond the pews like Busted Halo that ministers to young adults coast to coast on the web and on the radio.
The Annual Paulist Appeal also provides critical funding needed for vocation outreach and formation of future Paulist priests. Finally, it helps us provide support for our Senior Fathers who have not lost their zeal for service! Please see the pamphlets and special Paulist Appeal Giving envelopes that will be in all the pews in June. The pamphlets also explain how you can donate electronically (online). Go to: https://paulist.org/apa/ Thank you for your generous consideration of the 2025 Annual Paulist Appeal. Your gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference and means the world to us. Please know of our daily prayers for you!

The 2026 St. Nicholas Serata for Charity is Saturday, December 5.
As last year, it will be year at the very beautiful Circolo Canottieri Aniene. We have affirmed the two-fold purpose of the St. Nicholas Charity Serata: to raise money for charitable institutions in Rome and to build up and celebrate our community.
Now is the time to begin thinking about auction donations. When you go on vacation please consider purchasing or seeking donations for our Silent Auction in the areas of art, agriturismo, hotels, restaurants (get their menu, too), fashion, beauty products, specialty foods, book sets, a day at a spa or anything else that people would love to bid on. And remember we need brand new items, nothing used. See more information and photos on our website: www.stnicholasserata.org.
